We want you to feel confident ordering from Muse Society. Because wallpaper and printed materials are produced specifically for each order, please review the information below before purchasing. Variations in color, texture, and scale are inherent to printed materials and may occur between batches. Ordering sufficient material at one time is recommended to ensure consistency.

Placement of an order constitutes acceptance of these policies.

We strongly recommend ordering a sample prior to placing a full wallpaper order.

Samples

Samples are available to help you review:

  • Color

  • Material

  • Texture

  • Print scale

Please note that digital screens may display colors differently, and slight variations between samples and final production may occur. Samples are non-returnable.

CFA’s & Reserves

To support project planning and approvals, Muse Society offers COM/CFA yardage and reserve holds for active projects.

  • CFA Requests - COM/CFA material may be requested for review, strike-offs, or approval purposes. Availability is subject to current inventory and production schedules.

  • Reserve Holds - Material may be placed on hold for up to 5 business days at no charge while approvals are finalized.

Important Notes

  • CFA’s and reserves are non-binding and not guaranteed until a formal order is placed

  • Held material is released automatically after the hold period if no order is confirmed

  • Separate orders placed after a hold period may be subject to batch variation or availability changes

Order Accuracy

Please carefully review your order before completing checkout, including:

  • Product selection

  • Colorway

  • Material type

  • Quantity

  • Shipping address

Once an order has been placed, it enters production quickly and changes may not be possible.

Muse Society is not responsible for measurement errors or incorrect quantities ordered.

We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full wallpaper order.

Measuring + Installation Responsibility

Customers are responsible for determining the correct quantity of material needed for their project. Muse Society is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect measurements

  • Ordering too little or too much material

  • Installation errors

  • Pattern alignment issues caused by improper installation

For best results, we recommend working with a professional installer experienced with wallcoverings.

All Sales Final

Because most items are printed or produced to order, all sales are considered final sale. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect quantities ordered

  • Overages or unused material

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Installed materials

  • Made-to-order or custom products

For stock items that are not made-to-order, returns may be accepted with prior approval within 14 days of delivery. Approved returns are subject to a 65% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items must be unused, uncut, and returned in their original packaging.

Project Quantity

Wallpaper is intended to be ordered in the full quantity required for a project. Orders placed to test installation, color, or suitability should be made using samples. Full material orders are not intended for testing purposes and may not be returned once produced.

Additional Policies

Dye Lot & Quantity Policy - To ensure color consistency, we recommend ordering the full quantity required for your project at the time of purchase. Muse Society cannot guarantee an exact match between separate orders placed at different times.

Batch Variation - Wallpaper and printed materials may vary slightly between production batches. To ensure color consistency, we recommend ordering the full quantity required for your project at the same time. Muse Society cannot guarantee an exact match between separate orders.

Natural Variation - Many designs are intentionally produced with painterly textures, woven effects, or hand-drawn artwork. Subtle variation in pattern, color, or texture is part of the design and is not considered a defect.

Installer Responsibility - Your installer should review the material before installation and verify pattern alignment, color consistency, and layout. Installation indicates acceptance of the product. Muse Society cannot accept claims once material has been cut or installed.

Inspect Your Order Upon Arrival

Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.

Before cutting or installing material, confirm:

  • Correct product

  • Correct color

  • Correct quantity

  • No visible damage

If there is an issue, contact us before installation.

We cannot accept claims on materials that have already been cut or installed.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the issue

  • Photos of packaging (if damaged during shipping)

Once reviewed, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.

Installation & Labor Policy

All wallcovering should be inspected by the installer prior to installation to confirm color, pattern, and material condition.

Muse Society cannot be responsible for claims once material has been cut, trimmed, or installed. Installation constitutes acceptance of the product.

Muse Society is not responsible for installation errors, measurement errors, or project planning. Customers and installers are responsible for verifying quantities and suitability prior to installation.

In the event of a verified product defect, remedies may be limited to replacement of the material only. Muse Society does not reimburse or cover installation labor, contractor fees, removal costs, or project delays.

We cannot reimburse or cover:

  • Installation labor

  • Contractor fees

  • Removal costs

  • Project delays

Shipping

Production times vary by product and are listed on individual product pages.

Orders may ship from multiple facilities, and items within the same order may arrive separately.

Shipping carriers and transit times are outside of our control once a package has been dispatched.

Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

If a shipment appears delayed or missing, please contact the carrier first using the tracking number provided. If additional assistance is needed, you may contact us and we will do our best to help coordinate with the carrier.
